Glasgow City has borders with South Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire , East Renfrewshire, North lanarkshire and West Dunbartonshire.

Glasgow is a port city on the River Clyde in Scotlands western Lowlands, the most populous city in Scotland.

Glasgow is famed for it’s Victorian ant art nouveau architecture.

Its prosperity was historically due to trade and shipbuilding. Today it is a national hub for culture, home to Scottish Opera, Scottish Ballet and the National Theatre of Scotland, as well as museums and thriving music scene.

Glasgow today has a wide ranging diversity. From the city centre filled with grand Victorian buildings, to the many glass and metal edifices in the International Financial Services District to the terraces of blonde and sandstone buildings in the fashionable west end and the imposing mansions which make up Pollockshields on the south side.

The River Clyde is also dotted with futuristic looking buildings including Riverside museum, Glasgow Science Centre the SSE Hydro and the SEC Armadillo.
