Dundee City has borders with Perth and Kinross and Angus . Dundee City is a coastal city on the Firth of Tay Estuary, which feeds the North Sea in east Scotland. Dundee, known as the city of Discovery is a modern and vibrant city in a stunning location at the mouth of the River Tay, with more hours of sunshine than any other Scottish city and an abundance of green spaces. The city is approaching a population of 150,000.

A master plan to regenerate the Waterfront started 2001, The V&A Dundee is the first branch of the V&A to operate outside London and is now the main centre piece at the Waterfront.

RRS Discovery, Robert Scott’s Antarctic exploration vessel was built in Dundee and is now berthed at Discovery Point.

Dundee was recognised as the UK’s first Unesco City of Design for its contributions to the fields of medical research, comics and video games.
